La galería Sies + Höke, localizada en Düsseldorf, Alemania, da la bienvenida “Paranoid Landscape”, la obra más reciente del alemán nacido en Ulm, Hansjoerg Dobliar./ Sies + Höke gallery in Düsseldorf, Germany, welcomes “Paranoid Landscape”, the most recent work by German Hansjoerg Dobliar.

Este reconocido artista  ha tenido numerosas participaciones como expositor en grandes ciudades como París y Beijing. Podemos recordar la obra “Vulgar, Sexiness, Mystery”, donde entre títulos como “Clown I&II” o “Tete I&II” se invitaba al espectador a ser él quien fuera el intérprete de una serie de trucos plasmados dentro de las pinturas de Dobliar./This recognized artist has participate as an expositor in big cities such as Paris and Beijing. We can recall the work “Vulgar, Sexiness, Mystery”, where titles like “Clown I&II” or “Tete I&II” invite spectators to be interpreters of the tricks embodied in Dobliar’s paintings.

En “Paranoid Landscape”, vemos una lluvia de geometría abstracta, acrílico, óleo y aerosol. En algunas piezas se pueden ver recortes de revistas de la década de 1960 y 70, utilizadas como fondo sobre el lienzo, logrando darle más contenido a sus creaciones. Hansjoerg Dobliar no limita su trabajo al lienzo, también extiende sus obras con imágenes alternativas de soporte; en “Paranoid Landscape” el artista trabaja con tres diferentes tipos de montaje, teniendo como elemento en común el color negro y una pieza que genera ritmo a lo largo de su exhibición./ In “Paranoid Landscape”, we can appreciate a rain of abstract geometry, acrylic, oil and spray. In some pieces you can see scraps from 60’s and 70’s magazines, used as background on the canvas, so his creations get more contents. Hansjoerg Dobliar doesn’t limit his work to the canvas, he also uses alternative support images; in “Paranoid Landscape”, the artist works with three different kinds of montage, with black color as a common element aswell as a piece that generates rhythm through the exhibition.

    ? Praise be to the BMW engineers, because there is a hole in the 6 cylinder intake manifold that allows access to the top nut on the starter housing. It is actually a hole in the plastic webbing between the tubes for cylinders 5 & 6 (or 1 & 2?). With a carefully placed box wrench, you can get to the top nut on the back of the starter housing. I only discovered this & realized what it was while cleaning my manifold before re-installation. I found the attached photo online that clearly illustrates the hole I’m describing:
